Hello, and welcome to my project portfolio! I’m Shreyas Venkatarathinam, a Lead Data & Analytics Engineer at Siemens Energy with five years of experience spanning energy, manufacturing, product engineering, enterprise analytics, and applied AI.

At Siemens Energy, I lead business discovery, roadmap development, solution architecture, and technical delivery for data and digital-transformation initiatives supporting the North American Steam Turbine and Generator parts business. My work focuses on SAP material governance, spare-parts intelligence, digital commerce, and engineering automation. I combine hands-on experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Python, PySpark, SQL, Streamlit, Power BI, and Tableau with cross-functional leadership across business, engineering, sales, and data science teams.

Previously, I held several engineering and data roles at John Deere, where I worked with vehicle telematics, CAN bus data, warranty analytics, data pipelines, simulation, and mechanical product development. These experiences shaped my approach to solving complex industrial problems by connecting engineering knowledge with data, analytics, and technology.

I hold both a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. My professional interests lie at the intersection of industrial data and AI transformation, solution architecture, data products, digital commerce, and analytics-driven engineering.

Outside of work, I enjoy music production and sound engineering, which give me another outlet for creativity and experimentation.
